Brief Introduction of Beijing Capital Planning and Design Engineering Consulting Corporation

 Beijing Capital Planning and Design Engineering Consulting Corporation was
established in 1992 with the approval of the Beijing municipal government. The corporation is a public ownership enterprise managed by Beijing Urban Planning and Design Institute (previously by Capital Planning and Construction Commission Office) and is a class A engineering consulting corporation in the country.

Now the corporation has 60 employees, 21 senior engineers, 2people with senior professional titles and 20 people with middle professional titles. Among these, there are 8 senior planners, 18 resistered consulting engineers, 3 state first grade certified architect and 2 certified structural engineer. At the same time, the corporation has also hired first class experts in urban planning, road & transportation, municipal engineering and other fields as the counselors. The corporation has strong technology, complete professional facilities, good operation and management of the preparatory phase of projects and rich experience in engineering consultation. It has abundant information resources and specialist pool.

The company is mainly involved in such businesses as early-stage planning, compilation of implementation schemes, project management over the whole process flow and real estate development and operation in fields of urban planning, construction engineering, municipal projects, etc.

Urban planning business mainly includes the compilation of overall urban planning, special planning, regulatory detailed planning, constructional detailed planning, and the planning and the site selection for large engineering projects, etc.

Architecture engineering project consultation mainly include selecting project location, compiling project proposal and feasibility study report, organizing the argumentation on controlled planning and argumentation on the transportation impact, making detailed community planning, coordinating planning and design, organizing bidding on design plans, filing projects for examination and approval, experts reviewing of the project, getting license for construction land planning and license for construction engineering planning and other services.

Municipal engineering mainly includes compiling road project planning and providing technical consultation, preparing report on project feasibility study, reviewing road project design proposal and the initial design; coordinate all municipal professional planning and comprehensive design plans on municipal pipeline, preparing the comprehensive design plan for municipal pipeline and coordinating the design of all professional project implementation maps, getting opinion on municipal engineering planning, the license for construction land planning and the license for construction engineering planning and other services.

Since the establishment of the corporation, the corporation has made full use of our advantages in planning and design and has made remarkable achievements with a good background, extensive social relationship and resources in the ten years. We have undertaken hundreds of projects and projects preparatory-phase management business of municipal engineering. These projects include Tianyin Mansion, Ocean Plaza, Wenyu River Villa, Zhongguancun Software Park, Life Science Park, Yongfeng Hi-tech Industry Base, Peking University Science Park, Aviation Science Park, State Center for Disease Control and Prevention and preventive Medicine Science Park, new China International Exhibition Center, Fanhai International Residential Area, Beijing Language and Cultural University, Second Ring Road, Third Ring Road, Fourth Ring Road, Fifth Ring Road, Sixth Ring Road, Jing Tong Expressway, Badaling Highway, Jing Cheng Highway, Capital Airport North Line Highway and so on.

In the preparatory-phase project management process, the corporation provides one stop service, which is an advantage, to shorten the time for the work done at this phase and to improve work efficiency. It raises suggestions at the technical level, tries to reduce the investment for the project and improve the economic effectiveness, thus wins the trust and praise from the relevant construction agencies.

In recent two years, with the expansion of the business, the corporation has studied some projects independently, as entrusted by the government and clients. For example, the specialized study on the transportation conditions in Nanyuan, Donggaodi and Jiugong of Beijing and the study on the comprehensive pipeline projects in part of the development area. At the same time, the corporation has also explored new markets outside Beijing and involved in the review of the overall planning of Jiexiu city in Shanxi province and finished the work concerning the protection and planning of the old city area in Jiexiu.

In addition to the independent development and operation of real estate projects, the corporation also cooperates with developers from home and abroad through various models. In the past ten years, the corporation has worked together with Hong Kong Pengyuan (Yuexiu) Company to develop Mingduyuan Villa Style Residential Area (with a total floor space of 240,000 square meters); with Makao Lisen Investment Corporation to develop Huangdu Business Area (with a total area of over 60,000 square meters) in Wangfujing; and worked with Hong Kong Chengxin Real Estate Company and Beijing Yuandong Company to develop Xinyuan Mansion located at Dongdan of Changan street (with an area of 120,000 square meters). There are also jointly invested projects developed solely by the corporation, for example, Guangshunyuan Residential Area at Fangzhuang east.
